Talentless Talent Show

Our ward has a Talentless Talent Show every year and this year Nick and I were asked to participate. It was a lot of fun! We are supposed to be at a movie theater on a date and the couples wouldn't move down so Nick and I could sit together! So we sit at opposite ends and send hugs and kisses to each other through the people in the middle. It was pretty funny and Nick did an amazing job. I would post the video but it is too large to upload. We are actually excited to show how talentless we are next year.

Girls Night Out!

We felt like having a girls night out and Kelli came up with a great plan. We went and got our toes and nails painted first. The salon where Kelli scheduled our appt. said that someone called in a cancelled our appt. so they had to try and squeeze us in!! Kelli and Susie got their toes done and then went over to the table to get their nails done. Me? I had to stay in the chair where they did my toes and he started working on my nails?!? It was crowded and a little crazy but fun.

There was some Really Funny stuff that happened on our way from the nail place to the show but I don't feel like sharinf because it is one of those "you had to be there" stories. I will say that we laughed so hard we almost peed and Yes this is a picture of Kelli and I in a bathroom.

There was this hallway of mirrors so we tried taking a picture of ourselves.

I didn't see the guys behind us that were offering to take our picture and just kept trying to take a good picture of us. Susie invited them into the picture! haha!

I finally figured out why they were in our picture and handed over the camera.

We had SO much fun. The Lion King was Awesome! I never realised how many "life" lessons there are in that show. It was done beautifully and I loved every minute of it. The kids have been so addicted to the Lion King lately that I wanted them to see it so bad, but I wasn't going to pay that kind of money :o) Thank ladies for the fun night, it was great!

Bubble Fun.

Jake and Kevin go to music class together on Tuesdays and sometimes they need a parent to go. So Moki and Nick take turns going to class and when Moki goes we watch her other two boys. The other day while Alex and Emmitt were at our house we decided to play bubbles!

Class is 45 minutes and we were shocked when we were still outside playing bubbles when Jake and Kevin came home. They were really excited that we were all outside playing bubbles and they joined right in.

The kids had such a fun time playing together outside and their imaginations were running wild. I love when the kids get to play with their cousins. I love watching their relationships grow. I know they will be friends that can depend on each other and help each other.

Silly String Fight!

When I was at the .99 cent store awhile back they had 2 cans of silly string for .99 cents. I snatched some up because I love silly string. Last time we played with silly string the kids weren't that into it but like I said, I love silly string so I was hoping to win them over.

The tops were really hard to push so the kids needed help. They had a lot of fun shooting the string but they were un happy when they couldn't do it all at the same time.

The other Jones' happened to be at our place and luckily I had enough cans so it turned into quite the battle!

Poor Uncle Nate kind of became the un official target and ended up being covered in silly string. He made it a lot of fun for the kids and I think they all really enjoyed it. There was lots of giggling going on.

Wyatt's kept jamming and wouldn't shoot out like everyone elses so Daddy cleaned it and Wyatt was SO excited when it shot all the way across the driveway ....

... and got Uncle Nate!

Even Katelyn wasn't safe from the battle.

We had so much fun and I am hoping to find another great deal so we can do it again. Thanks Jones Family for the fun and thanks Uncle Nate for being such a fun target!
