Saturday Summary

So here is what we have been up to this week...........

Nick took Kevin and Wyatt to see Toy story 1 and 2 in 3D this week. Wyatt barely made it through one movie before Grandma Castle took him. Kevin, even though he he wouldn't wear the 3D glasses, loved the movies. "Toys" is one of his favorite movies right now. Nick said he was really excited to see a "new toys" also. Nick really enjoyed spending some "boy time" with Kevin.

Oh and........
Mekyla Connie Jones was born at 12:59am on October 2nd.
She is 19 inches 7.2 pounds and has a very bruised head and face :(

I went into labor Oct. 1st and we headed into town. We decided to hold off on going to the hospital until my contractions were harder and closer than 5 minutes. We walked for hours before we went in. Once admitted she just wouldn't come. It was a hard labor and we found out why. She was in a "military" position. Which means her head was tilted back at attention. She came down and out face first. My Dr. said this position is the hardest to push out and usually ends in c-section. We are very blessed that after a lot of hard pushing she came out, but like I said her face is swollen and bruised :(
Wyatt loved the keyboard that worked the TV more than the baby but Kevin was sooo excited that he could hold HIS "baby kywa". He doesn't look excited in the picture but he was I promise!
Nick is absolutely IN LOVE with his little girl. He is always holding and talking to her. She slept by him while we were in the hospital and he said he would have punched the nurse who pricked her heel IF he had been awake!! I would liked to have called him on that but.........I guess Daddies have to protect their little girls.
We are home now and doing really good. Mekyla passed all her tests with flying colors and has only cried twice since she was born. Her voice is low and husky like her brothers. Nick is hoping that when the swelling in her face goes down her eyes will be big like the boys, but he's still hoping for blue eyes.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I will take some more pics soon and get them posted. Visitors are welcome, just call and let us know you're coming!!

You look great in the pictures too, not like you just went through a hard labor! I can't wait to see pictures with the tutu! Oh be sure to enter the photo contest!
