Sunday Snapshots

"Irrespective of age, we mourn for those loved and lost. Mourning is one of the deepest expressions of pure love. It is a natural response in complete accord with divine commandment: Thou shalt live together in love, insomuch that thou shalt weep for the loss of them that die. Moreover, we can’t fully appreciate joyful reunions later without tearful separations now. The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life."
--Russel M. Nelson "Doors of Death"

Yesterday a wonderful man would have turned 56. I was going to post something yesterday but I wanted to give him his own post so I saved it until today. It's still hard to believe that he is gone but walking around the yard there are things that just remind me of him and I know that he is still here and working just as hard to help each of us return to our Heavenly Father.

They are simple things but Kevin was a simple man. He found joy in the Gospel and his Family. He really needed nothing more.

Here is the video that Bryan and Emily delayed their trip to make for us. Thank you so much for doing it. I know you spent time and moved pictures and added the wording. It was/is perfect, thank you.

"Brothers and sisters, we live to die and we die to live—in another realm. If we are well prepared, death brings no terror. From an eternal perspective, death is premature only for those who are not prepared to meet God."
--Russel M. Nelson "Now is the time to prepare"

We love you and Happy Birthday.
