Saturday Summary

Alex came to play at our house and the boys picked through the "wormy corn" and found 8 worms. When I came out to check on them they were letting the worm crawl back and forth on their hands.

The boys played outside ALL DAY! They came in for a drink of water and I said, "you can drink from the hose if you want." and that was that, they never came inside again. I went outside every hour and they were just playing, playing, playing.

Yeah pretty much, Kyla loves her Daddy!

I was cleaning the kitchen while the kids played outside. When I asked Kevin what he was doing he said, "I'm washing Wy-wy and baby's hair." What a good little Mother Hen.

I stripped them down to underwear since they were wet and it was kind of cold and I figured wet and naked is better then wet with wet clothes.

Pretty soon (3 minutes) they were done and wanted to come in.

We always make a big breakfast when Daddy is home but this week we just didn't feel like it so we headed to sugars and let them do the cooking. The boys LOVE eggs and cakes and thought it was fun to go to the 'game store'

Mekyla has decided that she knows how and wants to drink out of a straw. She really liked Mommy's Hot Chocolate but Daddy thought his little girl should drink healthy :0)

This week was our last week of softball. We are both really sad it's over. It was nice getting out of the house and playing and the kids have LOVED playing at the "ball park" We are excited to do it again next year!

We also went to Auntie Mo's Salsa Party she put together. It was a lot of fun and there were a ton of great Salsas. I 'made' a salsa to take and I won 5th place Woohoo!

Of course the train was a HUGE success. Not a lot of kids wanted to ride in the trailers, they either wanted to run behind the train or ride IN the train. Mekyla is in there too, you can just see headband.

She wasn't so sure about riding.

It has been a fun week. It's amazing how fast the weeks are flying by. I'm trying to stay caught up but there are just so many things to do, see, and participate in. Hope you had a great week!

It seems that life just keeps getting faster and faster and there is nothing anyone can do to slow it down. Guess the trick is to enjoy every minute of it and make lots of lovely memories!

Your kids are super cute!

Sorry I missed your call this evening...if you still have seasoning questions I should be home most of tomorrow.

Love you loads!

What do you mean there were not may kids riding in the wagons? We had a full load every time around and the ones that didn't fit, ran behind. Alex just wanted to run, but he is a seasoned Wagon Train Rider. I was exhausted from loading and unloading kids in and out of the wagons, plus the back of the Rhino and the front as well. Hee Hee Moki can throw a great party.
